SP4 William Joseph Bodzick was a 21 year old Male, Caucasian, from Petoskey, Michigan serving as the crew chief on UH-1D 65-1088.  Sp4 Bodzick was flying a combat mission in  along with  WO Donald Harrison, WO Daniel Sulander & SP4 Lee Boudreaux, Jr. when he lost his life.  William and the other crew members were all killed in action when their aircraft was shot down by hostile forces.   SP4 Bodzick joined the 281st AHC on February 15, 1965 and his death came on December 02, 1966.  William was a Roman Catholic and his name is engraved on the Vietnam Wall on Panel 13E-Line2.
