WO Tarry T. O'Reilly was a 20 year old Single, Caucasian, Male From PLYMOUTH, MAINE.  He joined the 281st. AHC on January 4, 1970 as an army aviator and was wounded on February 6, 1970 at Binh Dinh, South Vietnam  while flying a combat aviation mission  in Helicopter UH-1H 68-16525.  Tarry died of his wounds on Feb. 10, 1970. SP Frank M. Kaiser, the Crew Chief and  SP5 Alan Howard Johnson, the Door Gunner were lost in the same incident.   Tarry was a ROMAN CATHOLIC and his name is inscribed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on Panel 14W - Line 123.  Tarry , Alan and  Frank shall not be forgotten by the 281st AHC flight.
