On May 11, 1970 the 281st Assault Helicopter Company lost four of its top crew members in a rocket and mortar attack on their compound at Pleiku, South Vietnam. Each of these individuals distinguished themselves as highly respected crew members and trusted friends to all and they shall not be forgotten. They are:    
  • SP4 Danny Joe Taulbee, 20 year old Single, Caucasian, Male From LEE CITY, KENTUCKY . His tour of duty began on Oct 02, 1969.
